Batik Tulis is a typeface inspired by the beautiful colours and prints of Batik. This typeface was made within a grid pattern found in Batik, commonly known as Batik Kawung. The typeface reflects on the traditional aesthetics of Batik infused with a modern twist of rigid edges. This typeface can be used as a type to other traditional forms of the Indonesian culture.

Batik Tulis hopes to inspire more people to be interested in traditional practices of the Indonesian culture and promote the beauty that can be found in these practices.
